Took off on a hunt solo today after Church and hunted a couple smaller, but older homes in another town.
Only got one Wheat at the first house so I took off and started the next.
Second signal was super clean and TID showed it as a 93-94. I was thinking Quarter, but then out popped a Silver Thimble!! I Love finding these in Silver. They always come out of the ground so nice! After a little trash and a couple more copper Pennies, then I hit a nice signal next to the sidewalk going up to the front door.
First thought, and the numbers, I assumed it was another Wheat, but tucking it away in My fly case, and I saw the Wreath and Shield on the back. Cool!!!
An Indian!!!
By that time I had to leave so I had time to clean up for evening service.

Sweet Hunt though!!! Thanks for looking and Happy Hunting!!!!!!

I haven't found a silver thimble in a long time.
Long ago they weren't that uncommon to find, now, probably only peoples yards.

Great finds and thank you for sharing.
Thank You!!

Man that’s an awesome thimble. I really like that old race car as well. Congratulations!
