Simplex+ vs Nokta Pointer

They don't get along!
The interference of their Nokta pinpointer, when in use with the Simplex+,
is very ANNOYING...!
Sure, I can turn off the sound on my machine, but I'd love it if they
wouldn't compete for attention....!
I wrote to Nokta Makro and told them my problem, and hoped that
they would fix that on their next update....!
We shall see!

I had that issue with mine, with 3 different pinpointers. That was one of the things I didn't like about the Simplex. I don't remember having that much noise on the Multi Kruzer I had. I haven't been able to use their PulseDive as a pointer with any machine I have without it really getting noisy. That includes the CTX3030. Hope someone here can give you some ideas how to make them get along a bit better. I ended up giving up and just selling my Simplex. Shame, it was a good machine other than not liking pointers.

I wasn't sure what Nokta Pointer you have, but, if it's the PulseDive this could be handy to you or others:

FREQUENCY SHIFT
It is used to prevent the device from interfering with other detectors nearby.
To shift the frequency, press the on-off button while holding the (F) button pressed down. Each time you press the on-off button, a beep will be heard and/or the device will vibrate and the frequency will shift 1 step. There are 40 steps in frequency shift. The central frequency, which is the factory default, is indicated by double beeps / vibrations.

The Pulse Dive is physically unfriendly for me - I tried! Besides, NOkta Pointer is quite powerful, so the sensitivity is understandable between the two

True, the Nokta Pointer doesn't "pair" with the Simplex+
but, they are BOTH of the same parentage, so you'd think....!
Anyway, I'm still using them, even tho they really interfere with
the performance/efficiency some....
Besides, I'm hoping to use them underwater next summer...!
THEN, I'll see if they are more cool with each other....!

Mine is the Nokta Pointer, with the orange coils covers and buttons on the end.
And, at 18.2 kHz, it is a HOT pointer..., no wonder my Simplex can't find the right Frequency,
to NOT interfere with each other...!!
