Went around to different banks in towns about 60 min away and was striking out big time, then bam. A teller had about $6.50 in loose halves. As she was handing them to me she was like oh thats a pretty one. I was like, please don't keep it, please don't keep it. I got out to the car and included in what she gave me were 7 - 40% half dollars that looked like they were uncirculated. I included another half that I got at another bank in the picture. Also got $244 worth of Eisenhower dollars. I will post pics of those too.

This Eisenhower dollar appears to be silver. Could it be? The edge is white and I don't see any copper.

Michael K. is correct, if it has an S mint mark for that year...it's a proof coin that got into circulation. Check the mint mark, please.

It is a "D" mint mark but the coin is extra shiny and there is no trace of copper on the edge. The edges look silver. Does anyone know what's going on with this?

Probably a counterfeit coin. Send it to me and I'll return a genuine Ike dollar to you. LOL ;D Maybe somebody electroplated it?
