Hello all,I got out last week and dug about $3 in clad, nothing special.Today was a different story.I decided to go to a nearby elementary school that I knew was old but didnt know how old.I could tell by the brick and the 2 other kinds of brick for the 2 additions.When. I thought I was going to dig the normal trash, clad, and maybe a piece of jewelry. When I got there I looked at the lay of the land and where there might be ground not filled or moved from the additions. After settling in on said spot and digging a couple pieces of trash,I got a penny signal.I dug it and there was two wheats layin on top of eachother.I smiled and thought thats cool and moved on.After getting tired of digging trash I hit the ball field and guess what?(pause) More trash and a little clad.Something called me back to where I started.I was only getting 1 way sigs where the wheats were.I dug around a littleand got clear 3 way sigs.Look in there and 3 more wheats, same hole mind you.Again some 1 way sigs, scratch around and 2 more wheats.Surely thats all.Another 1 way sig, scratch around ,look and theres a buffalo nickle! Wow!By now the dirt is stickin to my digger and boots like bubblegum. This was next to a small tree and the roots were gettin on my nerves.I went ahead and left only to return tommorrow with a better tool. Was still getting 1 way sigs.I think theres more.I come home and look it up and the school was built in 1934.It was a nice surprise.I will take pics tommorrow for yall.Total count was 4 dimes,a quarter, and a penny. The wheats were a 30,36,44x2,48x2,and 49,the buff was a 35-D.Take a look at how they made eachother green by layin on one another. Thanx for lookin, jimmy
