Nice collection. I do not have a lot of familiarity with Mexican coins except for the small, silver ones from the 1700s we find on our sites. The two top ones on your left panel look something like what we might find. Your collection looks like mostly copper but a few silvers with dates ranging from late 1700s to early 1900s. Is that right?

You are totally right. Just four silver coins in these.

The oldest one is from 1762. There are some from 1812,1824,1835,1855, 1865…

And others early 1900s.

Thank you

If you can share the ones that could be similar or others, will be great

use this site...to identify them

and use EBAY (advanced button, then "sold listings") to get an idea of value.

Were these all personal finds?

Hi Peperj,

Thank you for your comments,

I have been detecting for about two years, in places that are located in Chihuahua, Mexico.

How about you ?

Keep in touch
You're certainly enjoying the hobby and amassing a nice collection as well.
You seem to have a great group of folks to hunt with also.
Just friends or some family?

For myself I have been doing this for over 50 yrs now-still every time I go out it's like when I first started in the hobby.
So it never gets old-just the body.

Woow, you have many years of detecting, Manu days of fun.

Yes, we do have a detecting club of friends, just friends.

My brothers and sister sometime came with me, but no with the club. Why? - because my friends and I spend from 12-14 continuos hours in each detecting adventures. My family just 2-3 hours

Where are you located?

You are welcomed to visit Chihuahua and join to a detecting adventure πŸ˜ŽπŸ‘πŸ½
