Was in the market on Thursday evening and I saw some coins on the ledge (shelf) of the coinstar machine. I was able to tell as I got closer that one of the coins was silver.

Found a 1944 merc, a 1963D FDR dime, a 1941 wheat, 22c in clad, 300 Pesos from Colombia, and a British farthing from 1896 (Queen Victoria). While the farthing isn't worth much (maybe 30-40c), it was the coolest of the finds.

People have silver and they just leave it there - they don't even know or care.
