Anyone interested in metal detecting in the area between Atlanta, Macon and Columbus Georgia? There are some old small towns here. There is a site in Thomaston, Ga that I would love to hunt but don't have permission yet. I suspect that it is either city or county property. It is near an 1875 school.

I live near Thomaston, Definately some old time areas that would be good to check.
I'll have to make some time to go snoop around there soon.
Too much time fire training right now. So Sad.

Hi, I'm new to Columbus , GA . I have a Minelab I've used for about a year, mostly to dig pop tops. Looking for old sites to shoot.
