Looks like a cob to me! Congrats!
Salty, thank you. Been a while since i had time to get out in the field and was a good start for me. I’m way behind on my Spanish silver. Any idea of a date range based on what can be seen?

Congratulations on a nice find. It is definitely a Spanish silver cob coin. The balls on the end of the cross tells me it was minted in Mexico City. The shield on the other side tells which king reigned when it was minted so that’s how you get the date range. My cob book is not with me right now so I can’t help with that at this time. Someone with more cob experience will chime in. A better picture of the shield side would help.

Stay safe, good luck and keep swingin.

Jerusalem style cross is indicative of Mexican origin. So your cob is from mexico !! Must see back to figure age.
