Hi everyone, a buddy bad these coins given to him and I was trying to help with a date. One on the left looks like 1715 to me but the crest on the right looks different, could just be the wear? Any help would be appreciated!

From his grandfather who lived on the Treasure Coast so im assuming found here or the keys.

I can't see where it says 1715 but the one on the right has an 8. Probably 8 Reales

They look good to me... i would say from 1715 fleet... the coins from that are mostly Mexico but some were Lima and Potosi as well... and from years 1711-1715... BUT.... some dates extended back into the 1600s.

looks like the cross on my 1715 fleet Mexico Mint 8 reale. Do we still have a Spanish Cob forum?
