…poor pics, spoke is flattop, broke I’m not sure.
Also found several scrapers and backed knives. Pics later..

Under pressure, it's common for stone blades to break right where the wood and hafting begin.
I'm thinking you may have a broken base.

..yes, the kind being transitional Palio, or Palio aged.
The break is a hinge fracture just as your pic. suggests.
