Not sure how old this is, who manufactured it or what it might be worth?? Atkinson & Long Mfg Co lock with T2543 key. 36"x21"x23" (LxWxH).
Thanks. Still curious on manufacturer, age and any other info people might be willing to share.Years ago we donated a similar trunk to a church fundraising auction. It brought nearly nothing. I think $10
Thanks. I assumed lock mfg was different than trunk mfg. Couldn't find any Identifying info on trunk.I dunno, again far from an expert. Couldn't the lock and trunk be different companies? Like how zippers are made by not the clothing company. I think antique trunks are in if they are cleaned up and pretty, maybe not a ton of money, but you could flip it I'd think. IN particular the inside is in good condition and very cute. The whole trunk is actually nice condition. Maybe it's more modern?

I guess that's the crux of it, same with those big vintage hutches, no young people have any space. I say from my pokey basement apartment that is still massively undervalued for where I live.Yes, they are like adopting a baby elephant: it’s cute, should have value, but where in the h@!! Am I going to put it? They make great blanket storage. We used our old one to store winter clothing: stocking hats, scarves, earmuffs, gloves, etc when winter was over. They take a lot of room.
