Went back to the house where I found the Sterling thimble and finished the yard. Turned up several Goodies!
A first on the Sterling Silver Salt Shaker! And a little Monogram Sterling piece that’s busted off a mirror bottom or something.
Cool Watch Fob, Great Seal Collar Stud, 2 Wheats-1918,1950D, an old sash buckle and button I hit. Both of which had gold gilt. The small monogram piece tested positive for Silver, so Silver #26fty!
Thanks for Looking &
Happy Hunting !!!!!!

Wow! That's a lot of goodies right there! Nice job! Here's a little history on that paper tag.

Down at west Carrollton there was a whisky distillery that found revenue following the Civil War. So the old distillery was converted into a paper mill, and assumed its place in paper-making history as the father of the long chain of similar plants since established in this justly celebrated paper0making town. The conversion came in 1871, when A. H. Friend, who owned the distillery building, replaced the still with paper-making machinery and called his new venture The Friend Paper Co. Hundreds of thousands of tons of paper were produced by this company up to 1912, when it was absorbed by The Miami Paper Co., headed by W. W. Sunderland. Today it is known as the Miami-Oxford Paper Co.

Digger RJ, you are Killin' it! Love the X shaped piece with beautiful profile portrait....reminds me alittle of stuff from the art nouveau period...and the salt shaker cleaned up well...maybe use it again?
Thank You!! Probably won’t use the shaker again, but a Sweet display piece😁

If you forced me to guess, I would say the pattern is pre WWII.
Anyways amazing it still has it's glass insert!
Thank You!!! Yes, I can’t believe the glass liner is in one piece and still comes out. Pretty happy with it😁

Great way of finishing off the site.
The shaker is Art Deco 1930's era would be my guess.
Liking the monogramed piece as well, wonder if it hung off a chain as a pendent at one time.
Thank You!! It may have been a chain piece. It’s hollow inside with the sides all folded up to the point where it broke off. Pretty ornate.

Thank You!! So with the Miami Paper Co. being sold and re-named in the 20’s, would this fob have been produced at the opening of the company, or just sometime in the 20’s before it was sold? Such a Cool piece, and Thank You so Much for the History😁
