Need help with this map... to me it looks like 3 hills, a water source like a creek, then 1 hill. on my property I have 3 hills to the west, a large creek, then 1 hill on the east. Unsure if Native American or what... Thank you:hello2: 20160912_155432.jpg 20160912_160255.jpg 20160912_160555.jpg 20160912_160916.jpg

BELL STAR

NEW DETAILED PHOTOS ON ORIGINAL POST
One more thing... Google "ROBBERS CAVE" ... "Bell Star"... very near as the crow flies. This area is full of tales of treasure. What if an outlaw told his brother he hid a treasure in a mountain range. "Seek a Stone in the campsite under the oak tree nearest the south bend of the river"
When dealing with Fred one must put themselves in the mind of its maker. Whether a J. Priest, Outlaw, or even a Choctaw Medicine Man.

Your collecting rocks based on "what if" it was touched hundreds of years ago by someone. You could pick up every rock with a scratch on the planet on that assumption...

Perhaps... However what makes Fred stand out is FACT. This area has already PROVEN its Worth in Ancient Artifacts and Treasure. :tongue3:

That proves nothing. Correlation doesn't imply causation. If you pulled a thousand pounds of treasure out of a cave and find a rock lying out front that has lines or grooves on it, it doesn't mean that it was a map to that cave. There are rocks everywhere, and most of them have lines or patterns on them regardless of whether there is treasure around.

Gentlemen, First let go back to the time when the priest were ordered to return or rounded up. Now these men my have thrown down their map then. I have other examples of them that have been posted. They were not called that at the time. The one I'm talking about are not stone but metal. I will post one of them only. The gold nugget is actually one but I will not show the back side of it. I know this is hard for you guys to believe this as facts. There is a big reason for not taking this to a so called professional. I did take it to the museum in Chicago. They wanted to know where it came from. I would not tell them but told them that there were plenty examples all over the country. They wanted me to come back and I will some day. I have a lot of work to do first. In the meantime I will show more artifacts to support my claim. I will try to give you better pictures showing actual writing on the stone. Maybe then and only then make believers out of you. Thank you for your patience.
Bob

At the risk of speaking for everybody here, I don't think anyone is suggesting that stone maps don't exist or never existed....just that the rock in question isn't one.

MEMBERS PLEASE take another LOOK. IF One of you can show me a stone like FRED that has Land Marks EXACTLY like hundreds of Acres in your Area that ARE NOT made by Worms, Roots, etc. I will definitely CONSIDER and RETHINK my view of Fred. However You simply CAN NOT change my mind with a stone like the following...

worms

Those new shots changed my mind. But if you know the landmarks it shows, what's stopping you from finding what it leads to?

FINALLY... PLUS 1. This is a large area. Fred was only discovered a short time ago while following clues to a cattle rustler who has stolen several of my cattle. Been dealing with that and the OKC Investigator sent here. Business comes first... This is a hobby.

I do not know if it is a map. Though I have to admit that I kind of hope it would be so somebody can get rich here and we can all say "Remember that woman from Oklahoma who found a rock that was a map and found the treasure and shared it with Bob, and now they are both rich?"

One point... when worms or other invertebrates do their thing it is/was in soft mud or sand. The sand/mud becomes rocks later on.

If it is a map (Fred) and I was the brother of the outlaw who left it for me to find, I would be really mad at him for being such a crappy rock carver. So much so that if I did find it, I would probably save it to throw at my brother next time I saw him. I guess that would make it a tool.

I did find a picture that is supposed to be a fossil burrow though, that kind of resembles a small part of the OP's rock, near the op. The curves and the grooves.

Yup, 13 pages of someone desperately trying to convince us that it's a treasure map rock and that we're all fools for not believing it...

The OP thought I was referring to her when I made the above comment, but I was referring to you, Bob.
