To mark the end of an era detecting with my little Garret Ace 250 im posting my best find!

We have an amazing permission in the Uk which has given us so many incredible days hunting, and the most awesome finds including a Bronze Age Dirk, found by my other half, but my little Garret blew my mind when it found this stunning 1554 Philip & Mary shilling.

We were searching on an area of pasture that was once part of a hunting estate. Local legend has it that On the otherside of the valley, on land not in our permission the heart of King John was burried in 1216.

The coin is in stunning condition the detail is incredible. The same coin recently went on sale in the UK for £5,500.

At the weekend we upgraded our machines to the Deus, we are true addicts to our hobby and cannot wait to see what treasure we will find next!

Simply a stunning recovery, Banner material all the way.
Congrats on the new machine as well
Well deserved.
I really think this needs more attention seriously.

What is great is it looks like a pasture field, so it escaped the dreaded plough. It's an amazing hammered for a low end machine find.

I was very surprised her Today's Post with this in it never made BANNER - No brainer, they missed this one big time. (Beats most of my Banners)
Long weekend
It just popped past the 60 likes
Have to wonder though if it's not enough pumping/beating of the chest :dontknow:
The Banner is subjective as it has to meet certain things.
Maybe the Title could be a tad more raving mad.

It certainly met
Rarity/quality/worthiness

Certainly if was an US silver worth that $$$ it would of been flying up there before now.
Actually when/or ever was a silver coin meeting this value threshold?
Possibly a Pine Tree Shilling
