Wow, an open window and great weather. Hard to come by in my life
right now but it happened Sunday afternoon. With momma and the kids
napping and then going to a birthday party, I sent my dad a message
and said we need to be swinging somewhere this afternoon.

We hooked up about 1:30pm and headed to Springfield to hit some houses
that a friend of mine had given us permission to detect. One house
yielded several new pennies, Dad (ashdigger) found two wheat pennies and I one old
Canadian Penny. Another house really was a disappointment so we left
there and headed to an old haunt that tsgman introduced us to that has
produced some nice CW finds.

I had not stepped out of truck and went swung three times and "BAM"
the tones about knocked off my head phones. Up came a shot three
ringer. I searched about another hour with no luck but Dad found some
really nice CW relics. His DFX located some tent grommets and two rivets (one with leather
still attached).

Not a bad day.... any day out with dad is a good day in my book!

Way to go guys. Nice 3-ringer, and that Canadian 21' cent is super cool.
Even if you guys only found pulltabs, it's great you are able to hunt together.
Congrats,
MM
