Sunday to Sunday Hunts A Few Firsts including a 21 Gun Salute, LC, 46 Rosie & 71 Ike

Wed. evening found 3 wheats, 1917, 27, & 29 no pics. the 1917 filled a spot in my penny folder (1.5 hrs)

Thur. evening found 3 coins, Notable find was an 1831 Large Cent (1 hr)

Fri evening pulled a 1946 Rosie (2 hr)

Saturday I drove about 30 miles to hit a a property where a school was torn down a little over a year ago and to hit other public lands of opportunity. notice the 21 cartridges. (5 hr)

Saturday evening, the weather was still good and the sun still shining so I went to a local field and pulled this. (2 hr)

Sunday I went east to an older elementary school and then back to one of my honey holes. Found my 1st Ike dollar coin. (4 hr)

So far this year I have 4 silvers and 1 large cent and am a little over $100 in coin face value for the season.

hope ya'll hare having a good time dirt fishing in 2015.

I almost put Gooney Bird in the Title. :laughing7: I could not believe this was 8 inches deep, I would assume it was lost not more than a couple of years ago by it's condition.
