Well the one thing I like about the minelab explorer series is the coil wire being out of the way thru the lower and upper rod,so here is what my mods are using the sunray prob on my etrac,Max

Good idea. Does it impact the integrity/strength of the rod? I have an older Explorer with a probe. I often hunt is heavily wooded areas so my machine takes a beating.

Also, what's that white wire?
