Sure beats a memorial cent!

I went to my old "worked out" CW Union campsite yesterday and proved the old adage "even blind hogs find some acorns". This site has given up several .54 caliber drops as well as round balls of various calibers, 3 pocket knives, a hatchet head, a few buttons, enough nails to build a new house, and until today only one coin. A 1858 Flying Eagle cent. The last few times I have gone there have been a "bust" but today I found two round balls, a broken horse or mule shoe, a harness ring, and an 1836 Large Cent. It just goes to prove that no site is ever really "worked out".
