Earlier this week, I posted a picture of a seated quarter that I found at a local park.

Yesterday, I hit the park again (of course) and found another keeper among all of the other debris.

Truth be told, I also went there today and found zilch.

The coin is slightly tarnished, but, given its age, it's in pretty good shape; and it does have some numismatic value.

It's almost entirely pine trees -- not sure what effect that has on copper.
Great patina on the IHP.
Even though pine trees make the soils uninhabitable for other plants growing around them it does have the tendency to keep the soils dry also. That might of be the reason for the condition, dry is better than wet clay.
