Got a peek at someone else’s finds from 70 years ago.
Again Far Northern California.

Gotta be careful handling this one. It’s sharp as can be.
What would it be called? It’s about 1/2” thick.

Similar in shape, but slightly thicker and not as sharp.

I suppose that makes sense. The first one has been touched up around the edges like it was being used as a cutting tool.

Preforms/cores/blanks etc.. often have usable edges, I don't think there was any artifact that was left idle no matter the stage, nice find!
