...and i do mean few. Hopefully the count will go up since retirement earlier in the year. No more work related excuses for not hunting.
All 3 dimes are from the same home site, which is now an overgrown lot that is best hunted in early Spring...after the thaw and before the tall weeds.
Both 1877s were minted in Carson City.
That same site has produced the smaller of the silver thimbles shown below, the child's ring (mother of pearl?), dozens of IH pennies, 4 large cents, a 1905 Barber half, 1897 quarter, and Barber dimes (lost count). Also found a rare local bar token.
The loaded die was found at a similar site 1/4 mile to the west. The larger thimble and the holed large cent were found at a home site that is now a plowed field.
The 1851 3 cent and the 1858 Canadian 5 cent were found at another site, and about 6" apart. The RR tag was found nearby.
All were found with a Minelab Sovereign XS, or Etrac.

(sorry about the grade-B cell phone pics)

That is a nice grouping of finds. I like that RR Baggage tag the best, probably because I have found Seated coins, etc. but have never found a RR Baggage tag. That item is still on my bucket list.
