Found this woefully underrated video about a Chinese pirate ship called the Ning Po which was built in the 18th century and was still sailing into the first quarter of the 20th century.

It now lies sunk off California in shallow mud easily accessible to those who know where it is.


Apparently around 1912 or so while it was being repaired in America someone found a secret compartment behind one of her cosmetic silver "eyes" with a treasure inside. This is interesting to think about considering the wreck is still accessible and perhaps had more than one secret treasure hidden inside that's still waiting to be found.
