Has Paititi been found? The Lost City of Z?

A most interesting article:

Forbes Welcome

If you haven't read The Lost World by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle I highly recommend it.

I just purchased The Lost City of the Monkey God. I am a connoisseur of lost city books - and this looks like a good one!

Good luck to all,

I guess it all depends of the meaning of Paititi.

Some natives of the Andean region of Bolivia where it transitions to sub tropical towards the East have stories that were passed on generation after generation. To them the word Paititi is used to describe people of these passed on stories that were faired skin and had red hair and beards that lived in the area prior to the Spanish arrival.

To us modern folk, it is equivalent of the "golden city". This new description of the term is credited to the European explorers.
