The newbie finally found silver lol

I got a short hunt in and turned up a lot of pull tabs and other trash but it was still fun and I found my frost piece of silver .925 I also found a neat thing to which I have no clue what it is ill be posting that is the other thread but wanted to share my findings ..

That is a chain-link fence post cap. The big hole at the top was for the top bar, the cap you have would have been a supporting pole.

Yes, I have seen round poles with square caps like that. It's stupid, but they do exist >.<

I was thing it was one of those iron wrought fence post tops or something ... Never hear of a square too for a round pole lol ...

None the less I think I'm gonna clean it up and put a base on it and turn it into a dual sided novelty clock :-)

the "thingie" is the top rail phineal for a custom chain link fence......nice hunt
