Hey Jeremy - yes I'm still kickin and detecting. Work has been getting in the way lately but I still get an hour here and there. Just pounding the same spots. This time of year always seems to produce new stuff at pounded sites.

Yesterday I go to drop off the table I borrowed from my mom for Easter. Figured why not detect for a few minutes. After 5 years of Nate and I hunting this place I picked up a wheat penny within the the first 20 minutes. Dug some more low tone junk and was going to call it quits. Then I thought why not try the front where some "good" stuff was found. First signal (and last) was this:

Wow, I was surprised. First LC at my mom's 1853 house after hunting it for 5 years!

So far this year I have found some cool relics, a couple IH's, 7 or 8 silver, etc. Just not a lot of incentive to post/take pics....haven't even updated my blog yet. Here are a couple more pics.

Nice finds Bob. Good to see you guys still around. I am in the same boat. Hitting alot of previously pounded sights. Got the V3 though now so old grounds have some new life now again.

That sucks would have liked to maybe hunted together, Lance has a GF now so you know what that means. You never see him. I am practically begging him to make the trip. Oh well I still got my boy. I just got him a nice idx pro on e-bay. So he will probably hunt with me over the weekend some. I guess Dan, is to tied up with ball.

I won't really know anyone. But I am still gonna go and have a good time. Maybe next yr I will see you guys. It's funny how many times you can hunt a site and still miss something. I think items just come off of tilt some and make the audio response good enough to dig.
