The surf was actually eating into the bottom of the dune....hurricane has made some mess here too, and this might be best conditions ive had in several years of taking this trip. At least that's what im gonna tell myself to get amped up.
Best of luck on the day Bart

Keeping her 💯!!!
I feel It would be like trading in ur child for a cleverer child 😂😂 so couldnt do it !!! 😆 xx
Yes it wouldn't be right to do that.
Also learning a new machine is a tad over whelming at times and the familiar is like a comfy feeling.
Take both with you on the first outing or two.

Thanks Barty… im slightly sad as i love my garret she has done so well… but i no we have such a great permission we need to do it properly xx
Don't give up on the Garret. I went out with a Deus user. I think experience beat me, not necessarily the machine. JMO. And if you watch Ohio Metal Maven, she kicks butt with her Garret.

14 AA batteries 8 in one pack 6 in the other.
The GoldMaster was the first detector the family bought-then it was full on own your own years later-no sharing my machine.
It was a costly hobby back then even.
First GoldMaster machine cost my father his 30-06 hunting rifle and a $150.00 back in the late 60's that was a heavy sum.
Similar to the 3rd picture but only had metal/mineral detected about 1-2" in the dry sand. No discrimination, dug lots of iron.

When the CoinMaster series was released it was a whole new world of detecting, the good times when every park, church, hall, was a virgin site.
My wrist ache now just looking at those handles. :laughing7:

Almost time for a scrap yard run might as well turn scrap into a bit of money instead of paying to dump it
