Loaded up the turkeys and dropped them off at the processor.
Drove over to my permissions and everything is still in crop.
I dropped over to the barns and asked if the alpha field was OK.
Knock yourself out 🌶 .

So 1 hour of swinging and now I need to rest.

I see the black gold is getting spread in the field over.
I must be up breeze from it.

I pull of the highway on to an access road 90 degree turn. A neighbor friend is following, I decide.... Heh watch this! Completely sideways on slightly wet pavement. I snapped the Firebird back straight and the asphalt was drier/dryer there. Threw me towards the passenger seat violently!! Sideways to not ultra quick. Kids......

Could be worse -- could have thrown you into the passenger seat.

Still... I bet it looked pretty awesome to the neighbor. (Or scary, depending on their point of view.). 8-)
 

Not the best swinging day event.
Went back out lasted 45 minutes.
Went back put foot up.
Tried again and lasted 20 minutes.
Bits and pieces, musket ball, pewter spoon bowl.

Went and picked up the turkeys and we netted 101.5 lbs.

So we won't starve. :headbang:

We have no family near us.
So these 6 birds will be for us.
Roasted
Cut/sliced into containers.
Freezer
Then the carcass for soups.
The small bones, skin, tissue, some fat gets ground up for a winter supplement for the layers.
6 turkeys will last us a couple of years.
