Jim,

Any chance of getting some woodchips to use between the rows? Saves planting ground cover and nourishes the soil also.

I have 10 dump truck loads on the rows already at a cost of $275 a load 18 cu.yrd. loads.
This barely covered the rows.
Now if I did between the rows-ouch that would take-ouch-the money-ouch-:laughing7:
Math of the patch 15'x200'x14x9"deep=1166 cu.yrd=73 loads x $275= $20K-OUCH! = Jim sleeping in chicken trailer....

It's recommended to place 4-6 inches for ornamental sites and 8-12 inches for restoration sites and/or perennial weed problems. Keep mulch away from trunks of trees and shrubs.

Mornin all.

Socket appointment was kind of a wash.
Had all the kings horses in on where to go with the next one for fit.
Now I patiently await a call for another appointment.
Did meet the new mad scientist working on my case. (No he's not really a scientist , but my habit is to describe prosthetics builders as such).
Good to see to confirm that he and others network on issues rather than fight them solo.

Got some more plants into the garden. Celery root, kale & swiss chard as well as some leeks and herbs.

I solitary tomato that was looking sickly protected by a cloche from the cold air. We have lots more tomato plants to go in when the weather warms up as well as some spaghetti squash plants.

GoodEvening everbody..... freeze warning tonight... It sleeted a couple times today...
I think the quail incident was an inside job. First egg tonight.. not really photo worthy and my smartmachine wants more money for more pic space.
Miss Shep you ever got to the knuckle bar? 11-13th. July drink beer..?

Well Fat I have played more Cribbage at the Knuckle Saloon than I have drank beer. Little Sis & I brought home the trophy one year. What's going on there July 11-13?

GMorn everbody, 37 above feels cool. 11-13 the headliner band, Victory underground is playing. There some of my extended family. I got my first guitar from there dad. Last year they played at the Stone in BellFouche. They’re pretty excited to be moving up the headliner list and playing on main.
Nowadays, the rally doesn’t do much for me, when I was 16, would tell my folks going to camp at lake and then we would “sneak” up for the weekend, it’s impossible for me to have that much excitement about it today but this is some motivation.
I thought about making a post like I’ve seen others do about going someplace and see how many go to the party....
15-2 15-4 and a double run for 12?..
