350 FPS is really not that fast. About like BB gun. My Whisper one pump .177 pellet rifle is at around 1100 FPS depending on the pellet(kills squirrels and rabbits such as that). 350 FPS will still put an eye out but not much more.Just my thoughts.
Thanks I know. But thats what she wants (for basement paper target shooting) .:BangHead: IF/when she wants to have something with more power she knows where they are :laughing7:
Love my Whisper in 22 cal :)

Mornin all.

Long ride to the lumber yard .
Then proved my inability to measure accurately before I'm fully awake. (And some days that is never...)

Replaced a deck plank. Result , 3/8 inch proud/too thick.
Umm , no skill or woodshop to reduce it , and I ain't going back to buy more.
Dug out chisels and a handsaw.
An hour or two , maybe three later and lots of sawing , it was interlocked with joists and flush....
Next time I'll measure correctly (?) and return to the lumberyard if something don't fit.

Few years back a friend handed me a Gamo Whisper in .177 and told me to dial it in for him.
It did quite well.
Often scopes that come with a "package" deal fall short. His didn't.
Yes it could have been upgraded but it served him well.

There is an art to shooting a springer. Gamo helped that by good balance , good trigger break , and the recoil didn't detract much , somehow.
Price point wise , they held there own just fine. May still...

I don't recall the brand of the last air rifle I bought Dad.
A Nitro piston though. Benjamín or Crossman....
A nephew has it now.
