Thanks Jim, dinner was great last night, had the caesar salad and shrimp cocktail for dinner, this place is definitely one you need deep pockets for. :laughing7:

Will be leaving the hotel shortly, we have our first appointment southwest of Ottawa in Kemptville at 11am.

Just wanted to say a quick good morning to everyone!
Was just looking at the menu and the prices-gee when the boss is in town-expense acct-I would of gone all out and ordered the strawberry cheesecake at least. :laughing7:

Don't know yet but if its a go the swap will only cost me $40.00 ....
That certainly is a great option-beats an unknown $$$ repair bill.
Just goes to show you that the parts are probably pretty cheap on their end.

Yeah,I looked up the motherboard (to buy) and my cost would be $60.00 .But its way beyond my pay grade to install it .

Their camera I'm thinking about is advertised as in excellent condition with a shutter count of only 2,100 pix.
The more research the more I think the motherboard is the problem w/these DSLRs .And whats even stranger, its the ONLY part that's interchangeable with newer NIKON DSLRs :icon_scratch::icon_scratch::icon_scratch:

I think it's a case of remote dowsing a map for treasures.
I'm thinking if this actually worked well as some claim-there would be a whole lot of treasures found real quick like.
Yeah but how is it done ?

It's something like the power steering cooler that the line connector started leaking on the Tundra. $100 to reroute the line.
Replacement quote $1293.85
Aftermarket cooler/labour $640.00
Auto parts outlet-$65.00 + my time in replacing it.
So I'm thinking there is some savings there come spring. The fluid won't even get warm over the winter months. plus a mechanic just told me that to put a good Lucas oil in to keep the viscosity up.

There has to be Youtube video on replacing that motherboard job.

Well I can bet a :occasion14: that if you were to post up an arial map of someplace/any place, and claimed that there was a mother lode of gold somewhere-there would be map dowser that could tell you where it was located.
I find it just amazing that it's so easy.......
