Dave, Good luck with the upcoming Vegas convention & meetings. As much as I enjoyed the social aspect of those types of events by the time if was over I felt like a caged animal. Between meetings, presentations, prebooked meal get togethers it seemed that no downtime was left for the participants.

Thanks Bill, you've obviously done these events before haven't you. :laughing7:

Companies know they have their staff and dealers as a captive audience for a few days, so they try to pack as much information into the time we have there as possible. Every day from Monday to Thursday from 7am - 10pm is full of training sessions, trade shows and information presentations. I leave my house on Sunday morning at 5am and my flight doesn't get back into Toronto until 12:30am on Friday morning... talk about a long week. :tongue3:

Just needed to think out of the box.
Have a meeting while eating while attending the strip club.:laughing7::laughing7::laughing7:

You know what Jim, I've been to Vegas at least 12 times for work related trade shows over the past 22 years and I've never been to a Gentleman's Club... in Nevada anyway. :laughing7:

I find to get the best value for your money in Vegas, you have to get away from the strip and eat where the locals eat.

Good morning pirates!

It’s snowing here. 1-3” expected. 20F feels like 12F.

We received another 8" of the white stuff here last night WD... thought you'd like to see these pics of someone enjoying herself in the snow. :laughing7:

You're probably right there John, my first thought when I saw it was that it's 'coin silver'. :icon_scratch:

Jim, When we bought in 1985 we had a 5 year locked in mortgage at 12.25%.....mind you it had been up around 18%/20% range shortly before so we didn't take any chances. Paid an extra 15% on top of that to speed up the payments. When it came due we just went with 6 months at a time at about half that rate. 8 1/2 years and no more mortgage. It felt great!

Just to give you some perspective on today's rate here in Ontario Bill, my wife and I just renewed our mortgage for the final time last week at 2.89% for 5 years. (locked-in) We want our mortgage to be finally paid-off and done by 2027.

No stuffing and I forgot the cranberry sauce :(

Looks delicious Roger, your gravy looks amazing! I'm making chicken thighs with potatoes, brussel sprouts and homemade gravy for dinner tonight. I start by boiling the chicken for 20mins before I put it in the oven, I find this ensures their moist and cooked all the way through.

Oakley is so stinking adorable!

Thanks WD, she's in need of a haircut, but I like how she looks with longer hair. When she gets shaved, she looks like an albino rat. :laughing7:

Just read this post on our Canadian detecting site and thought it would be nice to share it considering where I’m going on Sunday. I wonder what his wife would have said when he came back in and says, "Honey, guess what I just found detecting in the back yard?". :laughing7:

In the September 1980, Kevin Hillier took his new metal detector out for a spin in his tiny hometown of Wedderburn, Australia. Instead of a bottle cap or a paper clip, he found a 61-pound golden nugget barely a foot underground. The "Hand of Faith" is now in Las Vegas at the Golden Nugget Casino.

Makes me think that I’m overdue for a visit to Fremont Street.

Dave, That's quite the piece of gold I did see it on a trip to Vegas some serious money there at today's prices.
