Morning WD
Well done on picking up some glass yesterday.
What's embossed on the milk bottle?

Strange thing is that for the thousands of bottles that we had dug in the early days we never got any milk bottles.
Ya know, that’s the first one I found. Funny thing is I have never been very enthusiastic about milk bottles, but I was all giddy when I found one. It says “ Hodge Dairy”. No town.

????
[J and Rachel Hodge are fourth generation dairy farmers from Muskingum County, Ohio.]

Speaking of Ohio.
Recently read an article of a post war (WW2?) experience man living in a large hollow tree a little while there.
He'd put a floor in it. Shelves , a door ect.
The author (who knew the guy) checked into it years later and it was growing shut. No sign of prior occupation.
He'd snuck in it as a kid if I recall it correctly , knowing someone lived in it.

The last mention of the guy who lived there was during an authors return visit
(like a hometown thing for him) and the guy was back "up" early for spring and mentioned he'd be first mating for varied boats.
Told the author he'd have bait tomorrow , and where the walleye were.

Mornin all.

JVA , after considering your Uncle and the moving , I'd (and I'm not you or you me) be content to take a quart of soil from where your Gram worked it.
In time it will likely be worth far more than anything your uncle gets.
After all , it can feed you when money can't.
Plus a tangible part of your Gram and life there remains with it.
The best part. That of family , and family activities together.

Well yesterday we got a call about our Max.
Seems that he has Lyme-so more testing to see what level it is at.
Low and he'll be able to fend it off probably
High it will mean antibiotics for a good spell.

My Bubbles the Rooster has Bumblefoot-that's not an easy task to tend to as it will have to be after he roosts.
So after dark tending to this issue.

Had a meet up with friends yesterday to pick a couple of orders-100 BF of lumber on top of the Honda, and our case lots of olives and product from SilverLeaf.

So off to a late start-then again when is it an early start?

Have a great hump day to all.

Taking a few of the fruit trees I planted here that are still small they have a little home in them. Also all my little metal detecting finds on said property are wurh me. So that's something. Hopefully my mother and step dad get the old place in Hornitos opens up a new adventure for me trying to be positive.
