Saturday was sunny, mid 50s and 5pm before I decided to blow off a few hrs in a near-by iron patch.
I've been working this site for 8 seasons now , and it just keeps giving a little here and there now.
So the first signal was the iron/brass top pack rivet/clothing rivet for suspenders.
Then 10ft away a little signal, just enough to dig, and dig, and finally getting this thin piece of triangular old bling at 12" .
The shovel is 13" long, the item was in the mineral soils.
I was well past the PP depth of 9" and it was still in undug soil.
Deus l running Deep, 34 freq. 4 Disc.
2 sens.
I was like wow I'm impressed at the size/depth.

The next was the talcum powder tin top (Thank you Red-Coat's ID)
Still a cool little relic of 100yrs old.

I got another great sounding 84 straight diagonal line on the XY screen.

Just a slick greenie left facing profile half penny.
But it was a welcomed recovery from this producing site.
One acre can produce and produce, just frost movement no till.
I would love a plow, disc, rake of this one acre site. So under 2 hrs of playing, not a bad itch scratcher easy spring play.

Thanks Bill
The HF coil on the Deus l is great.
Getting targets this small at these depths is great.
Just waiting for the dust settled on the Deus ll and if a justification is warranted.
The shovel is a custom job.
Garrett with a cut down blade, and with the wide pedals welded on.
A type of shovel where digging a 1 Sq ft plug 8" Deep of Sod, I can stomp on the handle and catapult the plu out of the hole. No issues

Nice relics but what really caught my eye is the depth of the topsoil , nothing like that any place I get to dig.
