I can't make out the date but congrats on the Liberty Cap. They are not easy to come by.

Thanks I appreciate it didn't get out much last year way to much going on. Hopefully this year will be different

Looks like one to me. Congrats! You can probably tell by the thickness, too. I've never found one, but I believe they are much thicker than a Draped Bust. Nice find!

it's absolutely a 1794, beautiful and congrats!!!......I just mentioned on a different thread that I have found over 200 Large Cents/Colonials but I have never found a Liberty Capped anything.......still snow here in The Berkshires but I'll be trying again soon....again, great find!

I’m going with a 5 buddy. I know people get crucified for mentioning the word electrolysis, but if that were mine I might elect for a zap. I very rarely do it and only reserve it for the right cases. I had a ‘96 Liberty cap I did it with looking like yours and it came out exquisite. Great find! I hope it’s a 1794, tha’d make me jelly
