30 minutes in an abandoned Baseball field.

Mickey Mouse Pin
Fake plated ring
93 cents in modern change.

The field is newer, built around 1980. The oldest coin was 1965, all others were 1980’s and 90’s.

It’s not easy in this part of PA for a quick hunt. Most parks within 10 miles of my home are only 20-40 years old. The older ones, early 1900-1950s, seemed to have been picked clean by the early 70s. Mostly newer coins with a rare out of place silver or a few cheap rings.

You are doing fine. Don’t write off those newer parks. Sometimes there was activity at those spots before the park was built and old goodies do show up. They may not be common or easy to find but they can be there and well worth the time to find them. Keep plugging away, stay safe, good luck and keep swingin.
