Tie Bar Medallion

I found this tie bar while junking. It is made in USA and has this strange medallion I can?t seem to identify. Maybe it is from the space program? It is silver of some sort.

Any ideas?

Nice piece,only thing I can think it might represent is maybe the Judge Advocate General Corps,the military,s legal branch.Just a guess going by the balance or scales depicted.

With the tread marks, it looks like the scales of justice just got run over!

With the squiggly hangers for the scales, it seems to me it wouldn't be a Military Judge Advocate Corp insignia.

I thought it might be a signal corps insignia with the electricity, but it seemed to be pointing to a ?moon?.

Neither the Army?s JAGC or Signal Corps is anything close to that. Might be something from a fantasy game?

Maybe. Too bad there isn?t a dictionary of insignia. It appears to be silver though.
