Today made up for yesterday nd then some!!

We went back to the same field as yesterday but decided to start from the other side… best decision eva!!
I know loads of you find proper treasure, so this may not seem much to you, but im proud everytime we find a little bit of the past.
so here you have a button obvs 😆 the gold gilt is beautiful 😍. Then we hit the amo section.. 😱 then it was the lead… the 2 today are very similar to the one from yesterday so have put in the picture for comparison.. then a knob, and finally, my first ever hammered. 😍 in my world that is truly the best day ever.

Assuming that's the prior witnessed verbal agreement/signed contract with the landowner.
Lots of detectorist make the mistake of asking for permission to detect, which is not the legally important piece of the puzzle. What happens to any finds is, because without such an agreement it all defaults to the landowner. Having said that, I'm guessing you have a good relationship with the Landowner & it won't be an issue.
Just clarifying, the difference between the Potential Treasure under the Terms of the Treasure Act & the ownership of non-Treasure related finds.

Yes I can confirm, that we let the land owner know what we find, and if he wants it we would have no issue giving it to him. We are not interested in making Cash, we do it because we find it amazing to hold something that was once lost and is part of our history. 😊 and thank you for clarifying x

We don't do it for the money & I'm sure most Landowner's don't expect to make any until you find the million £ find, then if you have no legally binding contract, it's all theirs.
Most of our contracts are verbal, but we are getting a growing number of written signed ones as well.

Apart from Night Hawks most of us do it for the love of History, plus it's a cheap way to add to my Coin Collection.
