Today's bonus
Went to the beach today after work for a bit. Found a realy nice silver ring with 5 pink stones in it. A kid near-by asked me the usual "did you find anything?". I asked him "did you lose anything?" to which he replied "no", so then his relatives come up and I figure that nobody lost anything, so i show them the ring. His daughter says "That's Irene's ring!" My thought was immediately "bummer". I find a nice ring and now I have to give it back. The guy was really cool about it and said that since I found it and he would never have known it was lost he gave me $20 for it. I graciously accepted. He was really happy to have made his daughter's day (she was still out swimming) and I made about 20 hrs worth of detecting $ in about an hour (I figure I average about $1 / hr these days).
