Shark27

The two buttons came out of the same hole and were about 4 inches deep . The area only dates back to the late 1950's . I don't think they are that old but do look cool .
Thanks !

I don't think I have used it much in dry dirt , mainly school fields .

Do you ever get kicked out of a school yard? Most of the schools here in Florida have signs saying keep out after school hours and lots are fenced in.

From what I found, the button is a Livery style civilian blazer button available from the 1920s to 1950s. Modern copies are available as art deco stuff but yours has much more detail.

Only one time did I get kicked out . It was by one crazy loud parent from the other side of the field . I didn't want a fight so I left .
Only one school district around my area has no digging signs , so I just stay out of them .
