Took another load of halves to the casino (Dec 8)

The head teller that I order my boxes from asked me if I was going to bring all those halves back and try to deposit them. She asked in a way that let me know that she didn't want them back. Friday I took all my halves to the casino again and exchanged them for bills. Got over $3000 in hundred dollar bills for them. Did a little gambling also. Found 6- 40% silver Kennedys in the slots. Had a lot of fun.

Now I can buy more boxes. What is positive about this strategy is that I am bringing those coins to a casino two states away and shouldn't have to worry about running into them again. As long as the casino uses them in the machines it keeps them out of general circulation.

I may go to a casino in a neighboring state over Christmas. I found one that still has some half-dollar slot machines, but the guy in casino operations said they are going to get rid of them within the next year.

It would be neat to take a short vacation, do a LITTLE gambling, but spend a lot of time cashing in paper currency at the slot machines, and trying to catch some silver.
