you got to remember this is written by a journalist, a paper pusher, not an action movie buff

I am particularly inclined to say Steve McQueen in Bullet.
Simply because it was my older brother's favorite.

The actual sound was the sound used in the movie,
very little enhancement by the studio in the original movie.

That Mustang was as hot as it looked and sounded.

Although I like 'Bullitt',I'm more familiar with and lean toward another movie that I can kinda relate to and that is the 1958 Robert Mitchum movie,'Thunder Road'.

Know what you mean . Been there ,done that, in reference to 'Thunder Road' . 'Bullit' is some serious driving in an entirely different environment .
