Out here in the west where I live some of the best sites (forts, camps, homesteads) are on private ranches. I came up with an idea to trade rawhide reatas for access. I learned how to braid from an old timer and it's something I like to do in the winter when I'm stuck indoors. So far, of the five ranchers I've asked, I'm 100% for access. There's something about these old school ropes that seems to be desirable. I'm curious if anyone else offers goods or services for access.
