Thought I'd go for a jaunt while the kids napped, glad I did! First hit was the '37 Merc, followed by the '42 Merc 10 minutes later. 30 minutes go by and just as I'm getting ready to pack it in, I hit the '56 Rosie.

Tomorrow it's supposed to hit the 20's and not get above that for the week so I'm glad I got a few good ones before all that.

Happy Hunting!

Great job bud. You've really been scratching em out lately. It feels great to end the year on a high note.
Hey out if curiosity have you ever run your T2 on sens 99 disc 0? I did yesterday and it was just nailing the small deep stuff. I was very impressed

Nice silver finds! I went out for a brief time today, lots of clad and a small silver charm.

Nice finds! Supposed to be 2 degrees Wednesday night here in Central Pa. Everything's going to freeze now..

Nice Silver. Also went out before the big freeze. Clad and three wheat pennies. The two wheats were toast and one was a 1918.
Seeing your silver warmed me up after a couple hour hunt.

Hey thanks Abe! I hope these silvers didn't bore you too much being only 60-80 years old! To answer your question I have ran the T2 on 99, descrim 10. It'll hit a tack 12" down with those settings.

I found these silvers in an area I hunted with the T2. Perhaps it was just used error that made me miss these three. I dunno. I know one thing that drove me bananas was the chatter in the polluted parks around here. I'm willing to bet I missed these coins since they were all surrounded with iron nails and my brain just numbed out. The chatter is what drove me to the CTX since 90% of my hunting is parks and the 99/10 what's how I ran the T2 to eek out deep silver. This weekend I went to a not at all trashy colonial site and to check, and I had hit everything with the T2.

Yeah I'm excited to get the upgrade....and I LOVE your silver coins:thumbsup:

upgrade Abe?!

Yeah for $160 you can get the T2 upgraded and it absolutely eliminates the emi chatter from all of the feedback I've received. Same with the F75. You also now have 4 iron audio volume options and can mute it out if desired. I've heard that you can run the T2 full out at any site with virtually zero emi. It should be the perfect machine after the upgrade

Btw there will be a fast auto option in your mode settings. Bill D and I believe Joey said it is incredible how it separates good targets out of the heavy iron

Wow sounds amazing.

Is it software of some hardware alteration?

I'm assuming there's just a software upgrade but I'm not sure. But it sounds like they go through your machine and fix anything that needs it

Awesome silvers! WTG!
We still hold out hope of hunting!

It's 20 degrees right now and dropping to 12 tonight. I think we'll be frozen solid here unless there is a heat wave. I'm going to go detect my bottle of Jameson now....

Supposed to be -35 to -50 windchill in central Maine tonight. Looks like I'm done :-(

Abe there's always a way to get around the freeze up, just detect and colour code the targets using these.:laughing7:

Ah don't worry 'bout me down here in Jersey. We have it easy compared to those Maine guys egh. It's funny, I actually marked a good signal with a brick last winter after a jackhammer wouldn't have gotten through. Come thaw in April I eagerly dug the target only to find a 2"x2" copper scrap.
