I want to buy another water machine and I love my AT Pro. I was looking at the AT Gold and saw the CSI Pro for the first time. So after reading all the pertinent information from Kelleyco on both machines(ATP & CSI), the only difference I can see is in the coil size. So if I switch my coil on my AT Pro to a 5x8" does that make it into a CSI Pro? If so why the incredible price difference when a coil only costs $100+ ? Is there some internal differences I missed? Thank you.

I am very interested in what the answer is here to your question. i also have the 5x8 coil and therefore at AT Pro AND CSI Pro if this is true. :dontknow:

I spoke with a vendor on here and he stated that the only real difference is the label on the housing. He mentioned a couple other minor things like it being better for finding bullets and therefore marketed to police departments etc, but that was the gist of it. Waiting for Garrett to chime in........

when i bought my AT Pro, I also ordered the 5X8 coil as I detect in the woods for the most part. so, I have a CSI Pro when I switch to that 5X8 coil? Garrett better come up with a little more of a difference than the size of the coil. Kellyco says they also incl deluxe headphones, but does NOT say waterproof. :dontknow:

Still seems like very little difference. Weight is different probably because of difference in coil size.

I actually like and trust the dealer/sponsor. It's only a little more than what Kelleyco stated about a Garrett product.

interesting comparison now. i love my AT Pro and would not trade it for anything. For the price range, it is the best detector out there, for the price range I say. The more you learn to really use it, the better it becomes.
