Cellar hole finds in the Maine Mountains.
Has anyone ever run across the item on the bottom of picture? Or have any ideas...
Brass, and It has 3 eyelets that swivel freely.
I have my thoughts but I don't want to sway your guess or answers.
Thank you for the help !

Cool finds.

The bottom item is the top clip from the back part of a set of "President" suspenders made by the C.A. Edgarton Manufacturing Company of Shirley, Massachusetts. Patented in 1892, but they were still making them into the 1900s.

Just to provide some additional confirmation for the correct ID already reported in detail by Red Coat... here's a scan of a President Brand suspenders ad from the very-early 1900s.
