Twin Barbers

Today I hunted the same trail along the creek that I hit yesterday. It's not often that you find 2 Barbers on the same day, but to find 2 Barber dimes with the same date is a strange coincidence. These 1914 dimes were both 3-4 inches deep, but about 20 feet apart. I also found a few wheaties and some clad and memorials that I haven't cleaned up yet.

Boy are they ever twins, congrats, wouldn't clean them any farther, leave a little tarnish. Congrats.

Niceeee, only a few inches down is nice, what did they sound like and what were the digital numbers? On my explorer 11, i have to be careful because sometimes the clad dimes and the silver dimes sound similar and i have to go by the numbers and the crosshairs

crocop: I don't use the digital screen. I learned the Explorer using the Smartfind screen and just stuck with that. The dimes sounded alike and the crosshairs were in the upper right hand corner, a little over towards the dime area. I was pretty sure they were silver when I got the signals. You know, that sweet silver sound.
