Today i got out on a new field. Found a 1864 two cent piece and this bullet. Think it's a three ringer? It's flat on the bottom. Also some clad and a wheatie.

From your approximate diameter measurement, the ring for the crimp and the stubby shape it is probably a .44 or .45 pistol bullet. Could be as old as the late 1800s but they have been made for a long time since then.

My guess is your bullet is a more modern .44 or .45 revolver bullet. Since the nose is deformed it's difficult to determine the style, but I'd say it is a "wad cutter" style. These were designed for target shooting and cut clean holes through the paper targets. Of course, they work well for hunting at short range.
