Not a core IMO but a decortication chunk. Obvious cortex present and could be further refined. Is that hornstone by chance? I wish there were flint/chert in my immediate area instead of quartz and quartzite..

Looks like senora flint to me.

I would suspect somewhere in that vicinity there could be some nice relics.

Since found "'dirt road at the bottom of a hill along a stream", could be worthwhile to check the hilltop and surrounding rises along the creek.

Looks like senora flint to me.

I'm still new to this and not really sure how to check in the surrounding wooded hills, so much grass/leaves on the ground. I was thinking of plowing and tilling up some of the bottom fields
