My initial interpretation for fun…
Hafted knife ( resharpening one side causing it to be straight) followed by breaking and converted Into a hafted scraper ( the reason the top is flat and shaped) then finished its life as a spokeshave ( the deep circular notch opposite the flat side)

My initial interpretation for fun…

this is exactly what I would have written.
