I found this in the yard, of a house that had torn out. The emblem is about the diameter of a nickel, and wants to rotate; but it’s pressed against the back side. It reads, United States of America Patent Office. Does anyone know what it might have been? Thanks for looking.

If you could post a picture it next to a quarter or something for a size reference that would be helpful. :icon_scratch:
This is an interesting piece, love the scroll work, looks similar to a suspender clip I found years ago.
